[Japan–Taiwan Collaboration Report] Exhibiting at the Japan Pavilion of AIoT Taiwan 2025

A Major AI & IoT Exhibition in Taiwan—Expanding Opportunities for Cross-Border Collaboration

Although Japan and Taiwan do not maintain formal diplomatic relations, their economic and cultural exchanges are actively supported by the Japan–Taiwan Exchange Association, a public institution serving as the core platform for bilateral cooperation. The Association also plays a key role in assisting Japanese companies with overseas business development.

This year, under its recommendation, SAKIGAKE JAPAN was invited to exhibit at the Japan Pavilion of AIoT Taiwan 2025, held in Taipei from October 22 to 24, 2025.

AIoT Taiwan is widely recognized as one of Taiwan’s largest AI and IoT exhibitions, gathering cutting-edge technologies from sectors where Taiwan excels—AI, IoT, robotics, smart infrastructure, and more. The event attracts companies, engineers, research institutions, and government representatives from across Asia, serving as a major hub for new industrial collaboration.

We are honored to have been selected as one of the exhibitors in this central international platform.

Why SAKIGAKE JAPAN Was Invited to This Japan–Taiwan Collaboration Framework

Taiwan is highly vulnerable to natural hazards such as earthquakes, typhoons, and flooding—making disaster resilience a top national priority. Recognizing this context, the Japan–Taiwan Exchange Association recommended SAKIGAKE JAPAN with the aim of introducing Japan’s advanced disaster-prevention technologies to Taiwan.

The exhibition venue was filled with the energy typical of a global trade show, with active dialogue taking place throughout. Our booth was placed along the main traffic line within the Japan Pavilion, effectively serving as a “prime position” where we received exceptionally high visibility.

The response surpassed our expectations from the very first day—reflecting Taiwan’s strong interest in disaster-resilience solutions and validating the relevance of our technologies in this market.

Highlight of the Exhibition: Off-Grid Refrigeration Infrastructure

The core of our展示 was the Cold Storage Box Portable, an off-grid refrigeration system that SAKIGAKE JAPAN is actively deploying in international markets.

Cold Storage Box Portable — Key Features

  • Compatible with AC 100V / solar power / internal battery
  • Stable temperature control from 5°C to –25°C
  • Lightweight modular design for easy transport and installation
  • Fast freezing capability (reaches maximum ice crystal formation zone within 30 minutes)
  • Maintains cooling performance even in extreme heat—ideal for Taiwan’s climate

Feedback from Taiwanese stakeholders included:

  • “This could support cold-chain storage for medical supplies during disasters.”
  • “It seems highly suitable for low-temperature logistics in agriculture.”
  • “Perfect for mobile food vendors in tourist destinations.”

We also held individual meetings with companies in the medical, manufacturing, and logistics sectors, further solidifying concrete opportunities for local collaboration.

Taiwan as a Strategic Gateway for Asia

Our ambitions extend beyond the Taiwanese market itself. Taiwan serves as a manufacturing and technology hub in Asia, making it a strategic starting point for further expansion.

Potential areas of development include:

  • Distribution partnerships with local agencies
  • Localization through component sourcing and OEM collaboration
  • Pilot deployments with Taiwanese municipalities and tourist facilities
  • ASEAN market expansion using Taiwan as a regional base

By combining Taiwan’s strengths in battery technology and ICT manufacturing with Japan’s disaster-resilience technologies, we see the potential to create a new infrastructure model that enhances resilience across Asia. This exhibition reaffirmed that possibility.

Conclusion

Our participation in the Japan Pavilion at AIoT Taiwan 2025 represents a significant milestone for SAKIGAKE JAPAN—deepening Japan–Taiwan collaboration and accelerating our broader Asia expansion.
We will continue partnering with Taiwanese companies, research institutions, and government organizations to co-create new value and advance regional resilience.
