On September 22–23, 2025, SAKIGAKE JAPAN CEO Munetoshi Kondo participated in the WAOJE (World Association of Overseas Japanese Entrepreneurs) Global Conference, held in Dubai, UAE.
The event brought together over 350 Japanese entrepreneurs from around the world to exchange ideas and engage in meaningful discussions about cross-border business collaboration and the future of global entrepreneurship.
What is WAOJE?
WAOJE—the World Association of Overseas Japanese Entrepreneurs—is a global network connecting Japanese entrepreneurs active in overseas markets.
Originating from the “Wakyo-kai,” WAOJE now operates in more than 50 locations across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, supporting Japanese business leaders as they take on new challenges around the world.

Highlights of the Dubai Conference
The Dubai edition featured keynote speeches by renowned figures including:
- Hidetoshi Nakata, former Japan national football team player
- Ken Honda, bestselling author and entrepreneur
- Koji “Zos” Yamamoto, business leader and educator
Each speaker shared insights centered on challenge, co-creation, and a global mindset—the essential perspectives for the next generation of Japanese entrepreneurs.
In addition, country-specific sessions and networking events created vibrant opportunities for collaboration.
Entrepreneurs from diverse regions discussed partnerships, explored market expansion strategies, and sowed the seeds of future cooperation across borders.
Insights and Reflections from CEO Munetoshi Kondo
Kondo’s participation embodied the company’s guiding principle:
