SAKIGAKE JAPAN has been selected as one of the participating companies for the “24th Startup Mentoring Program (SMP)” hosted by the Tokyo New Business Conference (NBC).
This event will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, from 18:00 to 20:00 at “Orque d’or Salon AOYAMA” in Minami-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo. It is a pitch event where the selected companies will present their business concepts and receive practical mentoring in front of listed company executives and stakeholders who support business growth.
The Startup Mentoring Program aims to multi-dimensionally refine aspects such as business viability, growth potential, entrepreneurial qualities, and the feasibility of social implementation for next-generation growth companies. In addition to receiving direct feedback from judges for a 7-minute pitch, top-performing companies will be awarded the right to participate in the finals scheduled for March 2027.
The 24th SMP Gathering Diverse Growth Companies
At the 24th SMP, alongside SAKIGAKE JAPAN, startups from various fields—such as genome preventive medicine, visualization of capillary blood flow, transparency of music rights, and Web3/metaverse development—will take the stage.
The five presenting companies introduced are Zene inc. , At Co., Ltd., DRL Co., Ltd., GCT JAPAN Inc., and SAKIGAKE JAPAN .
Zene focuses on preventive medicine utilizing genomic data, @ on the visualization of capillary blood flow, DRL on making music rights transparent via blockchain, and GCT JAPAN on real-world asset tokenization and Web3 development. Meanwhile, SAKIGAKE JAPAN champions a “Resilience Infrastructure OS,” positioned as a company with a business concept that starts with disaster prevention and expands into energy, logistics, and urban infrastructure.
The Significance of SAKIGAKE JAPAN’s Participation
Japan has a history of facing diverse disasters, including earthquakes, tsunamis, heavy rains, and sediment disasters. Through this experience, numerous technologies and insights capable of global expansion have been born, such as earthquake resistance, evacuation guidance, stockpiling, remote monitoring, disaster information, and local disaster prevention education.
However, having excellent technology does not automatically mean social implementation will progress. Unless the design accounts for the regulations of the destination, local needs, budget, construction systems, and operational methods, technology cannot truly reach society.
SAKIGAKE JAPAN aims to bridge this gap. By discovering advanced disaster prevention technologies originating in Japan and connecting them with local governments, corporations, international organizations, and overseas partners, we will contribute to building a disaster-resilient society.
From a “Disaster Prevention Tech Trading Company” to a “Resilience Infrastructure OS”
SAKIGAKE JAPAN has been advancing the domestic and international expansion of disaster prevention and environmental adaptation technologies. By combining multiple technologies—such as seismic reinforcement, phosphorescent evacuation guidance, portable freezing/refrigeration, emergency lighting, flood forecasting, and disaster mitigation education—we propose optimal solutions tailored to the challenges of regions and enterprises.
Moving forward, we aim to go beyond mere product introductions and build a “Resilience Infrastructure OS” that starts with disaster prevention and expands into energy, logistics, urban infrastructure, medical/welfare, education, and international cooperation.
This is a system that visualizes disaster risks, selects necessary technologies, formulates implementation plans, and supports operations post-implementation. In the future, we will evolve this into a model that utilizes AI agents and databases to automatically propose and connect the required disaster prevention technologies for each region or facility.
Future Outlook
Through our participation in this SMP, SAKIGAKE JAPAN will further refine our business model, revenue structure, capital policy, and organizational framework. Furthermore, through mentoring from listed company executives, we will connect this opportunity to domestic and international partner collaborations and the creation of larger demonstration opportunities.
