On Saturday, April 25, 2026, Representative Director & CEO Munetoshi Kondo participated as a speaker at “Intern Action Day 2026 ‘Spring,'” held at Fukuoka Growth Next (FGN) in Chuo-ku, Fukuoka.
This event is a student-focused intern matching event organized by two Fukuoka-based venture capital firms (GxPartners and Beta Venture Capital) and FGN. Held annually as a space for university and graduate students interested in internships to engage directly with growing startups, this edition once again welcomed more than 10 companies.
On Stage: “Japan’s Disaster Prevention Technology — To the World”

Kondo presented SAKIGAKE JAPAN’s business activities, introducing ongoing initiatives both in Japan and abroad — including participation in an international risk and business continuity management conference in Saudi Arabia, an Indonesia decarbonization project in collaboration with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and the next-generation emergency shelter project with Panasonic. Under the vision of “bringing Japan’s advanced disaster prevention technology to the world,” he spoke to the critical importance of implementing resilience at a time when climate change and geopolitical risks are intensifying.
In the meet-up session that followed, Kondo held small-group conversations with a number of university and graduate students who expressed interest in internships. The students’ desire to “engage with social challenges” and “gain hands-on experience in a startup environment” resonated deeply with our company’s mission, making for a lively and meaningful exchange.
Working with AI — While Keeping Humans at the Center
We are living in an era of remarkable AI advancement. Yet at SAKIGAKE JAPAN, we firmly believe that “it is people who use AI, and people who make the final call.”
As our business continues to expand, SAKIGAKE JAPAN is actively strengthening its team. While we leverage AI tools to enhance performance, we are equally committed to growing our headcount and providing every team member with the educational opportunities they need to thrive. Climate change, geopolitical risk, infectious disease — in a world of mounting uncertainty, the field of “disaster prevention and resilience” will only grow in importance. We remain committed to delivering Japan-born solutions to the world, from the very front lines of that challenge.
We are looking for people who want to help shape this era alongside us. If you are interested in hands-on startup experience, or in tackling social challenges through business, we would love to talk.
