This framework guides global efforts in disaster prevention and reduction over 15 years.
Additionally, Sendai City is actively promoting disaster risk management and revitalizing local industries as part of SDG Goal 11, “Sustainable Cities and Communities.” Within this international leadership framework, the BOSAI-TECH Platform collaborates with domestic and international businesses, municipalities, and research institutions to utilize cutting-edge technologies such as AI, drones, and VR/AR to implement disaster prevention solutions and foster new business opportunities.
Through sharing information and events, the platform facilitates connections among participants, contributing to the growth of disaster-related industries beyond regional boundaries.
