SAKIGAKE JAPAN’s CEO, Munetoshi Kondo, successfully passed the initial round at the Tokyo Innovation Base (TiB) and delivered a presentation at SusHi Tech Square in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, on Friday, March 29.
During the event, our innovative product service “Hexagon,” designed to facilitate nighttime use of heliports, was showcased on stage.
Introducing Hexagon
Hexagon is a lightweight heliport night light developed collaboratively by Hirata Gakuen, Gifu University, student venture Hurovint, Aqua Cube, and Nissin Medical Foods.
Despite its compact 1.2 kg design, Hexagon is resilient against wind and can be easily transported by a single person. It boasts effortless installation, requiring just about 10 minutes, and offers over a 90% cost reduction compared to conventional alternatives. Given that less than 10% of heliports currently have nighttime usage due to regulatory lighting requirements, there’s a significant market potential for this product.
Given the increased emphasis on “air routes” following events like the Great East Japan Earthquake and the Noto Peninsula Earthquake, our product services are gaining attention for their ability to support helicopter operations during crises and enhance disaster prevention and emergency medical care systems.
