As a representative of SAKIGAKE JAPAN Corp. our recent visit to Minowa Town, Nagano Prefecture, proved to be an insightful two-day endeavor. Our objective was to engage with the local community, including the town office, businesses, farmers, and financial institutions, in exploring avenues for collaborative disaster preparedness measures.

Participants and Itinerary

Our delegation comprised several companies from the Kanto and Kansai regions, who actively participated in discussions with local stakeholders. Through these dialogues and interactions, we gained a deeper understanding of the region’s challenges and economic landscape. Discussions and Suggestions

Central to our discussions was the exploration of how our disaster prevention business could support Minowa Town. We proposed a comprehensive business model integrating disaster management strategies with initiatives promoting tourism, agricultural development, and sustainability.

Bringing Japan’s Superior Technology to the World

During our visit, CEO Munetoshi Kondo was particularly impressed by the advanced agricultural technology showcased by one of the local corporations. He recognized the potential of such innovations not only to benefit the region but also to contribute to Japan’s broader agricultural sector and even global agricultural practices.

Future Prospects and Contacts

The natural beauty and resources of Minowa Town, nestled amidst the Southern and Central Alps and the Tenryu River, left a lasting impression on us. We believe the town holds immense potential for tourism and agricultural development, making it an ideal destination for both business and leisure travelers. It is also recommended for workcation.

Our visit reinforced the importance of collaboration with the local community in implementing effective disaster preparedness measures. By aligning our solutions with the existing business models and addressing the town’s specific needs, we aim to contribute to the creation of safer and more resilient communities.

We will continue to develop further proposals and support activities while deepening cooperation with the community.
